Omega Aerospeed RED | BLACK
This Dutch-made helmet passes all ASTM, EN and CE standards for ice speedskating and road cycling. A true cross-over helmet that will help you shave precious seconds off the clock, no matter which discipline your passion pursues.
The Cádomotus Omega helmet is setting new standards for aerodynamics, ventilation and impact protection in high performance helmets. Built on a strict safety core of breathability and uncompromised strength, the Omega accepts the burdens of climate control and trauma absorption, keeping you cool and safe when things heat up!
Our exclusive manufacturing process creates a single-shell, born of a process that integrates honeycomb-like structures into a production mold of expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) to forge a monocoque unlike anything else in the market. This exclusive in-mold hybrid of a lightweight structural core and EPS allows for more vents without sacrificing the high protection requirements of a speedskating helmet. This patented technology exclusively licensed to Cádomotus.
The Omega’s aero-design optimizes the benefit you gain in a slipstream, and allows you to drop the line with the least resistance you’ve ever felt. Cheat the wind with ease, keeping cool with constant air flow over your head.

Price Value QualityNilson 4/4/2019I have this helmet from Cadomotus, so far a brand unknown to me, from April 2017. I have trained about 6,000 kilometers and cycled twenty races with it. The helmet fits great, and that is not obvious because with a head size of 59 cm most helmets are too small for me. It is an L, for a head sizes between 58 and 61 cm. From the first moment the helmet fit great, better than my old Giro that was sliding. This Cadomotus helmet has eight pads in the longitudinal direction and a pad on the inside of the helmet that comes against the back of the head. With the ease to operate adjusting knob that sits behind, setting to the right tightness is easy.
The strap under the chin is covered with padding too. The strap never pinches against the double chin, in short, a helmet that looks fine.
On the road, riding with a visor is a new experience. It is immediately noticeable that it is less noisy. In the beginning i had fear that the visor, which is detachable with three magnetic buttons will come loose, but that never happened. Now I have to say that I only ride on the road with the aerodynamic visor, and not in the forest (on the MTB). The visibility is excellent, but after a few hours in the heat, sweat and / or dirt sometimes appear on the glass, just like sunglasses. If no cloth is available, the visor can be easily removed with a hand movement and placed upside down on the helmet.
The helmet looks fantastic, fast and aerodynamic and with the red color matching my red team suit. The nice thing is that it is something different than a Giro or Specialized where three quarters of the pack rides with. I have received many positive responses.
The fact that this bike helmet in an Aero helmet has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is slightly more comfort and warmth and less noise. Wasps and other insects have no chance to fly in. In my previous semi-open Giro, the undoubtedly useful insect came in, but not outside, which resulted in an enraptured stitch during the Marmotte and a painful skull. The disadvantage: if you get itching on your head you can not scratch, at least not with the helmet on. Too hot in an ascent? Personally never bothered. The ventilation is enough and better than other Aero helmets.
Until now there is no question of visible wear and tear, I have not fallen with it so fortunately I can not yet judge how strong and good the helmet is. This helmet can and will effortlessly enter the next season.
Price Value QualityRemyon 4/4/2019Because the helmet is available in 3 different sizes and there are plenty of adjustment options, the helmet is great fitting. Have been riding a number of weeks with the Omega in relatively warm conditions. What is striking is that the helmet, especially for an aerohelm, well ventilates, also behind the visor. Fixing the visor is easy. The helmet is robust, but the helmet is light. Finishing is neat and also removable and washable pads are convenient.

The Omega Aero cycling helmet has been in my possession for several weeks and I wear it especially during cycling races. The helmet has an excellent fit and is extremely light. Partly because of the good chin strap you don't feel the helmet on your head at all. The ventilation is good, even in warm weather there is sufficient cooling and sweat is well drained.
The lens that is clipped onto the helmet with 3 magnets is easily removable and can be placed upside down on the helmet while you are cycling. This lens ensures good protection of the eyes and has a great influence on the sound. The helmet as I wear it with lens is quiet and gives peace, it is as if the wind passes by the ears. I wear the darkest lens, which for me can still be darker for bright sunny days.
Final verdict: a very complete, well-fitting silent helmet.
