Marchese Zero analysed
Designing the Marchese Zero shorttrack blades, precision has been the principle. Shorttrack skating is about precision, about feeling how far you can go, how far you can push your limit. Marchese Zero’s provide the best balance in stiffness and feel.

Oversized tubes

The main difference with other blades is the oversized tube. It is two millimeter larger in diameter, which means it is a stiffer and stronger base to keep the steel runner in its pre-shaped bend when skaters are hanging in the corner at their highest speeds. The rigid geometry of the tube is one feature, but also the adhesive that we use to hold the steel runner is different. This adhesive allows very smooth and equal bending of the blade, but maybe even more important is that it reduces the effect of different thermal expansion of the steel and aluminium.

Boot attachment
 
An important feature that adds to the Zero’s superb control are the boot attachment cups. They are far more precise and provide ZERO play, due to precision grind shoulder bolts and perfectly alligned posts. All of your power goes right into the runner, which adds finesse and feel and makes your strokes more predictable.
