8 times European champion
It is a special year for Fabio Francolini. He won three European titles already and therefore he is the big favourite for the World Championships, held in his own country. “These titles have showed that I do not have to fear anybody.”
If one athlete impressed already this season, it is the 26-year old Francolini. He has had a great season so far, with multiple wins and top results. “It’s because I trained very hard and I’m still training very hard”, he says. But there is more.
“I have found new motivation, changing team to EO Skates/MPC. When I look at the people of the EO Skates family, spending time and money for our sport, I just have to do the best I can, in order to promote their products.”

His goals for the World championships in Ascoli and San Benedetto del Tronto are clear. “I want to win two titles. I do not agree that I would often be in the shadow of athletes like Bart Swings or Yann Guyader and I don’t like it people say this. I have proved different.”
With three World titles on his palmares already, one captured in Yeosu last year, he is totally right. Fabio Francolini is a super athlete, ready to become Italy’s super star. “In 2004 the championships were in Italy also, but as a first years senior I couldn’t participate. Since that moment, I trained for the World championships this year. Racing in my home country changes everything.”
When you prepare so intense, you must make sure to be on the right equipment. “MPC wheels have helped me during this season, but also before. Despite other sponsors, I have been on MPC wheels often at the most important races, the World championships. Enough said.”

“I have tested new MPC Turbo prototypes and for sure they will be great on the road. At the track, I think I will use the normal MPC Road War Turbo’s. Grip and roll are the leathal weapon of these wheels.”
